#HRTailgate Preview: Giving Back As A Company During The Holidays

’Tis the season to give—and we’re here to explore why this #HRTailgate Twitter chat.

#HRTailgateEach December brings the decorations, food, sparkling lights and cheer of the holidays. One of the most notable sensations of the holiday season is the spirit of giving. Companies that promote community involvement has been proven to increase employee engagement, bolster recruitment and retention efforts, and even improve your business’ reputations.

Join us on Thursday, December 14, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. CST, to share your knowledge and join an enthusiastic conversation on the power of community involvement.

The hosts of our chat are Josefina Martinez, a Client Advocate and HR Advisor for G&A Partners, and Rieva Lesonsky, the CEO of GrowBiz Media and Tailgate: Giving Back As A Company During The Holidays

If you’ve never participated in a Twitter chat, you’ll be surprised at how simple it is to participate. A Twitter chat is a live conversation focused on a topic — for this month; ours is creating a purposeful office culture in 2018. The chat has eight questions; chat participants can engage in dialogue with chat hosts and other chat participants by answering the questions and using the hashtag #HRTailgate. (Forbes shares everything you need to know about a Twitter chat in this article.)

Want to know what to expect? Get excited and gear up for the chat by visiting a few of our recaps from past HR Tailgates: “How to Score a Work-Life Balance,” “Gear Up for Workplace Safety,” “HR Law: Avoid Being Out of Bounds,” “2017 Workplace Wellness Plans,” “How to Score a Winning Company Culture,” “Make Your Employees Feel Like MVPs,” and “The Evolution of Employee Benefits.”
