#HRTailgate Preview: Make Your Employees Feel Like MVPs

Ready to score a touchdown with all things employee appreciation?

During our last #HRTailgate, employee appreciation was a popular topic when discussing its role in strengthening company culture.

In fact, according to a study conducted by SocialCast, 69% of employees expressed they would work harder if they felt their efforts were better appreciated. With that in mind, we’re ready to kickoff this month’s #HRTailgate by mapping out a game plan to “Make Your Employees Feel Like MVPs.”

Join us on March 30, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. CST, for an engaging discussion all about employee appreciation, led by G&A Partners’ Ori Murdock, and special guest host Jennifer McClure, keynote speaker, business advisor and highly-acclaimed HR guru.

HR Tailgate: Employee Appreciation
If you’ve never been involved in a Twitter chat, you’ll be surprised at how simple it is to participate. A Twitter chat is a live conversation focused on a topic — for this month, ours is employee appreciation. The chat is guided by ten questions; chat participants can engage in dialogue with chat hosts and other chat participants by answering the questions and using the hashtag #HRTailgate. Then: Prepare to share your HR knowledge and learn from others with the following questions:

  • What are some ways to reenergize a recognition program that’s starting to feel stale?

  • What are some consequences of not having an employee appreciation program?
  • What are the shortcomings of a “one-size-fits-all” recognition policy?
  • Having great engagement doesn’t mean having a huge budget. What are some affordable ways companies can show their appreciation?
  • What are some ways employers can personalize appreciation and recognition?
